How merchants and affected individuals can request deletion related to netSEO Whatsapp Connect.

Overview

You can request deletion of data associated with a netSEO Whatsapp Connect integration. This page explains practical steps for merchants and individuals. It is separate from Meta’s automated callback endpoint used by Facebook/Meta for certain deletion flows.

Option 1 — Disconnect in your store / Connect account

  1. Open your store admin (platform module) or the Connect customer console and the WhatsApp connection settings.
  2. Disconnect or remove the connected WhatsApp Business Account / integration if the option is available.
  3. Confirm that new transactional messages stop being sent from the store.

Option 2 — Remove Meta authorization

  1. Sign in to Meta Business settings / Business Integrations for the business that authorized the app.
  2. Remove or revoke the netSEO Whatsapp Connect (or related app) authorization if listed.
  3. This helps ensure Meta-side access is withdrawn in addition to store-side disconnection.

Option 3 — Contact Net Seo Media

Email contact@netseo.ro with subject line Data deletion request — WhatsApp Connect.

Include only the minimum information needed to identify the request:

  • company / store name;
  • store URL, platform name or tenant identifier if known;
  • Meta Business / WABA identifiers if known;
  • contact email for follow-up;
  • whether you are the merchant administrator or an affected individual;
  • a short description of what should be deleted.

Do not send passwords, access tokens, App Secrets, webhook verify tokens or other secrets in your request.

Meta-initiated deletion callback

For certain Meta-originated user data deletion requests, Meta may call our automated endpoint. When that flow applies, we process the request and may issue a confirmation code that can be used to check status. If you received a confirmation code from that process, open the status URL from the deletion response, or replace YOUR_CODE in:

What we delete, anonymize or retain

  • Deleted or disconnected: active connection credentials and operational linkage needed to send messages for that merchant, when a verified deletion/disconnect is completed.
  • Anonymized or minimized: logs or records that must lose direct identifiers where feasible.
  • Retained when required: limited security, fraud-prevention or legal compliance records for a necessary period, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Deletion of Meta-side assets (for example removing a WABA or phone number inside Meta) must be done by the merchant in Meta tools; we cannot delete Meta’s own platform records on your behalf beyond revoking our connection data.
